Inês Ucha reinforces Public Law team
Pinto Ribeiro Advogados has reinforced its Public Law area with the integration of Inês Ucha. Last year, Inês Ucha served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the municipal company Lisboa Ocidental SRU – Sociedade de Reabilitação Urbana (February to November 2021), a company in which she had already held, since 2018, the functions of member also of the Board of Directors.
Inês Ucha has been a lawyer for 17 years. She is a professional with an extensive career in the field of urban planning and public procurement law. Her career began at Invesfer, SA, a company dedicated to making REFER’s real estate assets profitable, in the areas of real estate, urban planning and public procurement, in which she was a legal advisor between 2005 and 2008.
This was followed by eight years at Parque Escolar, EPE, as a legal advisor in the area of public procurement (2008 to 2015) and a brief experience at the Lisbon City Council, in which she worked as legal advisor to the councilor with the areas of Urbanism, Municipal Works and Heritage (between 2015 and 2018).
Inês Ucha says that “it is with great enthusiasm and a sense of responsibility that I join this team, hoping to contribute to strengthening the Firm in a quite strategic area of law in the current economic context”.
According to André Miranda, partner and coordinator of the public law department, “Inês is a huge asset for the growth and consolidation of the Public Law department, a decisive practice area of the firm and increasingly requested by our clients. Furthermore, Inês will take the lead on several projects already in preparation with our clients within the scope of the different components of the Recovery and Resilience Plan”.
