The COVID-19 pandemic remains the world’s biggest concern and the scenario is likely to drag on for several months. In Portugal, although figures continue to show that the virus has been controlled in time, several sectors of the economy have been greatly affected. Iberian Lawyer spoke with six Portuguese firms working every day in the most affected sectors – Foreign Investment, Labour, Taxes, M&A and Litigation – to understand what measures have been taken to mitigate the effects, how clients are reacting and what is expected for the second half of 2020.
