Pinto Ribeiro Advogados hereby announces that, as of June 1, 2018, it will start its activity at Rua Duque de Palmela, No. 27, in Lisbon.

The new law firm results from the union between J.A. Pinto Ribeiro & Associados and André, Miranda and Associados. The objective of this merger, concretized in the new firm, Pinto Ribeiro Advogados, is to strengthen the capacity to response to the Customers, benefiting from the experience and dynamism of the respective teams. The partners of Pinto Ribeiro Advogados will be José António Pinto Ribeiro, André Miranda, Francisco André and João André Antunes.

J.A. Pinto Ribeiro & Associados, led by its founding partner José António Pinto Ribeiro, lawyer since 1972, emerged as one of the first law firms to be incorporated as such in 1986. Since then J.A. Pinto Ribeiro & Associados has been involved in all areas of Law, with special focus and specialization in the areas of Commercial and Corporate Law, Banking and Financial Law, Capital Market Law, Insurance Law, Competition Law and Civil, Commercial, Criminal and Administrative Law.

In turn, AM Associados was a more recent law firm and was formed at the end of 2013 by four members of the new generation of lawyers, especially focused on business law and with a multifaceted professional career, including a remarkable experience in prominent places in the public sector.
