Pinto Ribeiro Advogados advised on the acquisition of 100% of the share capital of Warpcom SA, by the Spanish group Evolutio Cloud Enabler.

Warpcom, a spin-off company of the former Dimenson Data, has experienced in recent years, thanks to the innovative work of its management team, an exponential growth as a market-leading technological integrator in the development of end-to-end solutions in the areas of Networking & Infrastructure, Collaboration & Customer Experience, Data Center & Multi Cloud and Cybersecurity. The company started its internationalization in 2017 to the Spanish market.

With this integration, Evolutio Cloud Enabler aims to create natural synergies between the two companies, in a joint and integrated approach to the Iberian market, strengthening its leadership position in the same and adding to its consolidated presence in Spain the work developed by Warpcom in the its offices in Lisbon, Porto, Faro and Funchal and its team of more than 130 professionals.

Pinto Ribeiro Advogados’ team was led by partner  João André Antunes, who highlighted the importance that this operation assumes for the two companies, taking into account its strong complementarity and the great harmony existing with regard to the respective principles and objectives. “The tenacity that Warpcom has shown in the last five years, the result of the work and vision of its management team, is yet another confirmation that Portuguese companies, when well led, are capable of bringing out the best in their teams and achieving results at the level of the best international standards. This operation also involved lawyers Ana Luísa de Oliveira and Sofia Ginestal Albuquerque (associate lawyers in the Business Law Department of Pinto Ribeiro Advogados).
